Leuchars Community Council update

Leuchars Community Council members have been, over the past months, discussing ways to brighten up the village. This has been successfully achieved by the planting of a beehive planter and numerous barrels along Station Road. In addition the majority of the local businesses agreed to put up hanging baskets, that were supplied by the Community Council and filled by Yvonne & Jim Anderson (Yvonne is a member of the C/C)

Children from Leuchars Primary School were invited to plant a barrel and appeared to have a great time doing so.

Thanks must go to several members of the C/C and their families who gave up their time to help with the planting.

Due to the generosity of Falkland in Bloom, who supplied us with more plants, we have been able to purchase further barrels for the village.

Leuchars C/C would be grateful to hear from anyone who is interested in being part of this project.

Chair
