Leave Tentsmuir as you find it

People visiting Tentsmuir Forest are being urged to follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code. Bid Strachan, from Forestry Commission Scotland at Tentsmuir, said: "Tentsmuir is a great location to come and enjoy some outdoor recreation, whether it is simply for a walk, a bike ride, some horseriding or walking the dog.

"If you're busy having fun it's sometimes easy to forget that our actions - or those of our pets - can affect other people's enjoyment of their forest visit.

"Our advice is quite simple - leave the forest as you found it and consider other people's needs.

"We'd like everyone to enjoy their visit to any of our forests so it's important that people act responsibly.

"The Scottish Outdoor Access Code sets out how we can all do our bit to ensure that a visit to the forest will always be enjoyable."

Anyone wanting more information on the code should visit www.outdooraccess-scotland.com, or for information about recreation opportunities, visit www.tentsmuir.org
