Hi Everyone,

I'm an American who lived in Leuchars twenty five years ago (my dad flew for the RAF for three years). I'm now trying to write a series of short stories set in Leuchars (it's kind of a tribute to my favorite place among the many that I lived), and was wondering if anyone would be willing to augment my memories a bit. I've been using Google maps to look around the town a bit, but I was ten when I left, so I'm not able to place everything that I remember. Most pressing at the moment - I remember there being a small police station in town (this was in the 1980s), but I can't find it now. Am I misremembering it? Also, I saw Spar store on Google, but did it used to be called something else? Finally, the house at 10 Main Street used to be a place that sold magazines and stickers (I spent a lot of pocket money there). Can anyone tell me what it was called?

If anyone can help at all I would really appreciate it. Regardless, I hope my stories will do Leuchars proud - it's the least I can do for all the wonderful memories I have of the place!
